This year’s theme invites us to explore how design is evolving in a rapidly changing world across disciplines, industries, and perspectives. Together, we will reflect on what this means for the future of our design journeys as students and emerging professionals.

The symposium will feature six inspiring speakers and, for the first time, will offer two parallel lecture sessions allowing you to choose sessions that best match your interests. The day will continue with an interactive panel discussion where students and professionals can exchange ideas and explore the challenges and opportunities shaping design today. We will conclude the day with a networking event, providing the perfect opportunity to connect, share insights, and celebrate this special Lustrum edition of the symposium.

Tickets information

-If you are currently studying at any University select the student ticket, otherwise select external visitor. Make sure to bring your student card, because we will check them at the entrance.
-You are also asked to provide your preferred lecture in the two timeslots that have parallel lectures (timeslot 2 and 3). We will assign you a lecture later by email, and take your preferences into account as much as possible. This is done to ensure that both lectures will have a minimum amount of visitors.

Allergies

It is no longer possible to indicate allergies as the lunch details have already been shared with the supplier. There will however be Gluten free and Lactose free options. More specific allergies, will likely not be a problem due to the diversity of the supplied lunch. Finally you can also always contact a committee member and discuss the possibillities. 

USE/ITEC
This symposium has received the USE/ITEC label; This means TU/e Bachelor College students can attend the symposium as 1 of the 5 programs required to complete the project phase of their USE/ITEC course (the SG&USE/ITEC obligation; for more information, look here). 
Requirements for the point: (1) active participation in the entire symposium (this means to be present during the entire day); (2) registration of your presence during the symposium (we will check this at two moments during the day). You will be informed about the attendance registration procedure by us before the symposium. Keep your student ID number at hand, because you'll need to fill it out. You can find your student ID number on your campus card below the passport photo. Please make sure your registration is done properly, otherwise we cannot verify that you were present.
